A display within a San Francisco shopping center exhibited eight young women with price tags attached to their bodies. The displays, part of a marketing campaign by the Working Group Against Human Trafficking, sought to highlight the issue of man trafficking and to increase awareness of the problem. The advertisements featured the women’s age range, weight, height, and other measurements. They also included their countries of your pregnancy and sexuality. In the process, the women’s memories and the function of the performers were brought to light.

An assembly called “Women for Sale” was created by the Task Force in Human Trafficking in Sweden, as part of a campaign to generate consumption of sexual products a criminal offense.
